Merry Meet! 

​

I am the High Priestess Peace Whitehorse of the Poffenstead and Peace Grove Circle. 

 

I am a Wiccan woman living in south central Pennsylvania, USA with my dear hubby Poff and my Shetland sheepdogs.   We have three children:  Charlie, Tiffany and Gene [deceased].  Two daughters-in-law:  Mandy [Charlie] and Christina [Gene].    And three grandchildren:  Alara and Parker [Gene and Christina] and Winston [Charlie and Mandy]. 

 

We live at the Poffenstead in Mechanicsburg, where we hove our home and also a woods across a footbridge behind our home with a clearing called Peace Grove.  We hold ritual there as often as weather permits, and also enjoy bonfires there in the firepit.  There is a statue in the Grove of the Goddess.  She belongs to the land, and the land belongs to Her. 

 

I am a High Priestess in the Order of the White Moon, an international, eclectic Order of Goddess Women.   www.orderwhitemoon.org.  I highly recommend the Order and any of the schools within the Order for women wanting to learn more about the Goddess!  

 

I facilitate a circle/coven called Peace Grove Circle.  We are a small, growing Circle of eclectic Pagans.  We celebrate the Sabbats and and the Full Moons.  There is an Outer Circle and an Inner Circle.  Outer Circle meets once a month and includes everyone in the Inner Circle.  This is were a new member would start, in order for us to get to know you.   We do crafts and have Pagan and Wiccan teachings.   The Outer Circle does not do ritual.  One we get to know you we can vote you into the Inner Circle, where you are able to participate in ritual with us.  Inner Circle meets once a month also, and occasionally more often, to accomodate the Sabbats and the Full Moons.

 

I offer a free email course called Wicca for Beginners.  It uses the text by that name written by Thea Sabin.  Outer Circle peeps must complete this course in order to be eligible to be voted into the Inner Circle.  However this course is open to any who would like to take it.  Just get the book, and then email me at sheltiepoff@comcast.net and tell me you would like to take the Wicca for Beginners course and we will get started!

 

Inner Circle women are eligible to take the White Moon studies through the Peace Grove School of the Order of the White Moon.   This course of study takes you through three levels:  initiate, Adept and Priestess.   There are sixteen lessons in each level, and three levels, and the cost is modest:  only $30 for every four lessons.  At the completion of each level there is a final project which will be posted to the Order's Goddess Gallery, a self-elevation and initiation, and the award of a cord and a certificate.  Level III graduates are eligible to take Level IV through the Order of the White Moon itself, at a cost set by the Order.  Level IV completion elevates the student to High Priestess.
